UUCLC’s Commitment to UUtheVote
Even though the 2026 general election is four months away, UUCLC is already involved in urging people to vote. On Sunday, July 5th, our Social Justice & Environment Committee asked for volunteers and donations to help with a postcard mailing project. UUCLC members and visitors immediately responded. That day, $120 was donated for the purchase of stamps and about 10 volunteers applied address labels to 500 postcards. The Black Women’s Roundtable supplied the nonpartisan postcards which urge registered voters to vote and sign up to vote by mail. SJE funds helped to pay for stamps, too. Hurray for UUtheVote!
