Speaker: Rev. David Crump

Born in the U.S., David grew up in Brazil, the son of missionary parents. Over the last 30 years his personal sense of calling has taken him to church ministry in a Native American community and to lead management roles with several nonprofit organizations. Drawing on the message of prophets, both ancient and contemporary and based on a deep commitment to social justice, his personal mission is to be engaged in and with communities at the margins of society in ways that lead to empowerment and radical transformation.
David has master’s degrees in philosophy and theology, and a Doctor of Ministry in Cross-Cultural Ministry; the latter received from Catholic Theological Union, in Chicago. He is currently the Grants Manager for the Farmworkers Association of Florida, in Apopka Florida.
