In April, 2021, UUCLC members voted overwhelmingly to move forward with the Solar Task Force’s proposal to pursue the use of solar energy at UUCLC.

The vote was only a first – or next – step in the process. There are still details to be finalized and approvals needed before declaring we are in fact going solar. We are hopeful, but until those final i’s are dotted, t’s crossed, and approvals signed, we remain cautiously optimistic.

We hope to break ground this fall and complete construction by the end of the year.
