Katie Koehler, a local transgender woman, will speak at UUCLC for our annual Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) Service.  Sadly every year 45-50 transgender people (mostly women or color) are murdered in the U.S. alone. This year is no different.  Katie will honor each of these people by discussing the transgender community issues and the history of TDOR, reading the victims’ names and dropping a stone into a bowl to recognize them.  We invite you to join us to honor the precious people we lost over the last 12 months. United we stand with our transgender family and friends.
