“Not Such a Sure Thing”

At each moment there are an infinite number of possible futures.  While some are more likely than others, we need to be careful of thinking that any one future is a sure thing.

The sermon is inspired by a short play called Sure Thing by David Ives, from his collections All In The Timing. While not required to find the sermon meaningful, people may be interested in taking a look at the play on YouTube. There are many versions. Here are two:

Sure Thing  (7:03)

Sure Thing Reimagined  (10:15)

The play was inspired by the music of Philip Glass, modern, minimalistic, and repeating.
