Many cities are moving away from celebrating Columbus Day.  Instead, Monday October 11 is Indigenous Peoples Day.  It is a day that celebrates and honors Native American Peoples and commemorates their history and cultures.  We gratefully acknowledge the TIMUCUA Native Peoples on whose ancestral homeland we gather, here at UUCLC.  The following is their history.
