9:30 Discussion. Wish you could have attended all eight workshops at the EcoExpo earlier this month? The Social Justice and Environment Committee will provide a summary of each workshop: Protecting Native Plants and Animals, Protecting Water Resources, Sustainability, Smart Growth, Climate Change, Health & Environment, Local Government’s Response, Preparedness, and Greenhouse Gas Reduction. ONSITE ONLY.

11:00 Celebration of Life. Rev. Snavely’s topic will be “The Spirituality of the Transcendentalists”: Dr. Barry Andrews has written an essay entitled “The Roots of Unitarian Universalist Spirituality in New England Transcendentalism.” We will share parts of that essay and consider what we might learn from the spiritual practices of our transcendentalist forebears. (click here on Sunday to watch on Zoom).

2:00 Lake County Conservation Council Annual Meeting. UUCLC members are invited to attend this meeting being held in our Social Hall. Refreshments will be served. The LCCC shares our values regarding protecting our environmental resources. Visitors and new members are welcome.
