Pet Blessing and Celebration October 21, 11a.m.

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Lake County invites you and your well-behaved pet/animal friend to our Annual Pet Blessing and Celebration Service.

This heartwarming event is open to our wider community Saturday, October 21,

at 11:00a.m., and will be held outdoors at 1235 Mt. Homer Rd., Eustis FL. Our purpose is to celebrate together the special bond between humans and their beloved animal companions. The event will be held rain or shine. Refreshments will be provided. A free will offering will be shared with the Leesburg Humane Society or The Humane Society of Lake County.

This event is a cherished tradition for many Unitarian Universalist congregations reflecting our commitment embracing diversity and promoting compassion for all living beings.

The Pet Blessing Service is a unique opportunity for pet owners and animal lovers of all faiths and backgrounds to join in honoring and blessing the furry, feathered, and scaly members of our families. In cases where a pet may be territorial, anxious or has recently passed away,

owners are encouraged to bring a photograph of their beloved pet to receive a blessing.

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Lake County Pet Blessing Service celebrates the beloved animals in our lives as well as helps foster a sense of unity and compassion within our community. We invite you and your special animal friend to join us.
