Did you know the Lake County Sheriff’s Department has a Community Engagement Unit? This unit is an integral part of the sheriff’s department and has around 12 current programs. A number of the programs are specifically geared toward seniors. These programs help keep us all safe and may even save your life!
UUCLC’s Care and Connect Committee is hosting sheriff’s department speaker, Erica Stamborski, and she will be coming to us live in the sanctuary (to safely spread out) and on Zoom.

LOCKBOX PROGRAM-Provides police, fire and EMS access to your home in an emergency and you are unable to open the door.
VIAL OF LIFE-Provides emergency personnel pertinent medical information in the event of an emergency.
SENIOR WATCH-a program that checks in on seniors daily to ensure their well-being.
These programs and more will be discussed. This is your chance to learn about these programs and ask questions.
