Farmworkers of Florida Need Our Help

FWAF is calling on the public, our communities, and supporters everywhere to help meet urgent needs. We are requesting donations of key supplies for disaster and heat preparedness, including:

Flashlights

Batteries

Cooling towels

Reusable water bottles

Backpacks

Infant supplies:    diapers (all sizes), baby wipes, pacifiers, baby shampoo, baby blankets, baby towels, clothing (newborn to 5 years), new car seats

First aid Supplies

Cleaning Supplies

All people, regardless of status, have the right to safety and shelter during a disaster

We know that our communities are resilient, but they should not be expected to weather these storms alone. Climate disasters are escalating.  Public resources are shrinking. And immigrant farmworker families are often ignored.

We are asking you, our community, to stand with us!

  • Donate what you can
  • Demand protections rooting in justice and care!

Ways to assist:

Bring to UUCLC any items you have to donate by Sunday August 24th

(Karen Frank will deliver them to the Farmworkers Association office in Apopka)

Order online and have items directly delivered to:

1264 Apopka Boulevard

Apopka, FL  32703

Phone: (407) 886-5151
