Our Minister and Staff
Minister – Rev. Cynthia Snavely
As of February, 2023, Rev. Snavely is our part-time interim minister whom we share with the Tri-County Unitarian Universalist (TriUU) congregation just up the road. On Sundays when she is not with us live, she records her sermon for us to view on screen. We look forward to other sharing opportunities between the congregations, particularly around outreach and social justice.
Rev. Snavely began her ministry in 1984, having gone straight through high school, college, and theological school. She transferred from United Methodist ministry to Unitarian Universalist ministry in the early 1990s and has served Unitarian Universalist congregations in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and now Florida.
We are honored to be a part of her journey, and to have her as part of ours.
Join Rev. Cynthia every Monday at noon for an online open discussion with UUCLC and TriUU members. It’s a great opportunity to get to know our minister, as well as UUCLC and TriUU folks. Zoom information is provided in the weekly Bulletin.
Staff
UUCLC contracts with a musician and an audio-visual equipment operator for Sunday services and other events. All administrative tasks and some building and grounds maintenance needs are accomplished by our wonderful volunteers.
